Exercise is an important aspect to stay fit in everyday life.

Many of us struggle to make exercise as a habit but failed because of
one or the other reasons. Everyone knows the importance of exercise, but they
unable to implement it in their lives. It improves health, boosts energy, and
lightens up the mood. Also, it helps in reducing anxiety, stress as well as depression.
To add exercise in their daily routine, one must have the right mind set and a
smart approach.
Proper Guidance
The problem is not your busy schedule,
disability, or age factor but the bigger barrier is your mind. One reason for
this can be a lack of self-confidence or motivation due to which you give up
early. I think we all have been there at some point. There is no age category
defined. So, you can start exercising at any time. It is never too late. Take
it as a fun activity.
Drop your wrong attitude
You don't have to spend hours in a gym
or force yourself into painful activities. A little exercise can also give better
results to you. You can add a modest amount of physical activities to your
daily routine for an intense effect on mental and emotional health.
Don't be a day Dreamer
You can’t get a perfect shape overnight. Expecting too much too soon
leads to disappointment. Don't be discouraged or think much about your fitness
goals. Instead of observing over results, focus on consistency.
This will improve mood and energy level will boost accordingly, the
physical payoff will come in time.
Busting
the Excuses
Excuses
are easy to make and can be many, but always there is a way to overcome those.
"I hate exercising."
Many of us feel the same. If sweating in the gym on
a treadmill doesn't suit you, try to find an activity that you enjoy doing such
as dancing, cycling, running, and many more. Whatever it takes but do exercise.
"I am too busy"
Everyone in this world has a shortage
of time. So, to overcome this hurdle, one must have to do proper time
management. Lots of businessmen daily spare some time for exercise because they
knew its importance. It's in you, whether you make exercise a priority or not.
It's not necessary to work out for an hour. Short 5-10 or 15 minutes of
activity can be effective. If you are too busy during the week, spare some time
during weekends.
“Exercise is too difficult and painful.”
No pain no gain is an outdated thought. You don't have to push yourself
until you get soaked in sweat. You can build strength and fitness by walking,
swimming, gardening, or even cleaning the house.
How much exercise you
need to do?
Always remember, something is better than nothing. Going for a walk is
better than just sitting. One minute of activity will help you to lose more weight
than doing no activity at all. As per, the current recommendations, activities
can be done as follows:
150 minutes per week i.e. 30 minutes each day excluding weekends
Or
Two times 15 minutes a week
Or
Three times 10 minutes a week
